Hi my name is Damo and I'm a Swedish candy maker. I own a small and unique candy shop in the center of Stockholm.

  • What you will see and do

I started my small candy cane shop in beautiful old town 6 years ago, and I now invite you to come and bake delicious candy canes with me.

Polkagris is a Swedish stick candy that was invented in 1859 by Amalia Eriksson in the town of Gränna, Sweden, and remains a popular candy tradition in the town. The traditional polkagris candy stick is white and red, and is peppermint flavoured.

We'll start with a short history about Swedish candy canes where you'll get to ask questions and get a demo on what we'll be baking.
You get to choose what flavor the group bakes and I'll prepare the dough since it gets quite hot (150°). Then you take over by rolling, dragging and baking 8 perfect candy canes you can bring with you home.

You also get a 20% discount on all the candy in the shop.
