Hi there! We're a couple who's been living on the west side of Stockholm for 5 years. We know our way around pretty well, love to meet people and have new experiences and would like to show you a few gems in our part of Stockholm. Gabriel likes good food and drinks, nature, and death metal. Anna likes arts and crafts, cozy cafés and reggaeton.

  • What you will see and do

Get an easily accessible and yet genuine experience of nature in the Stockholm area with a small souvenir to take home.

We'll meet at Åkeshov subway station, just a 20 minute trip from Stockholm Central station. We'll go for a walk by the lake, pick flowers or buy them from a lovely shop on the way in, and stop to make a fire.

While we wait for the fire to get ready for grilling some tasty hot dogs and sausages, we'll try eco printing, also known as hapa zome, with the flowers we picked or bought.

After we've enjoyed some food and beverages, we'll continue our walk through the nature reserve, and end the event at the Åkeshov subway station.

From there you can either take the subway back into the city or ride just one stop to Brommaplan and take a bus to the Royal Castle of Drottningholm.

I'm so glad that we got to go to this activity. The hosts were so kind and we all had a great time. I would recommend it to any one visiting Stockholm. Hala

Anna and Gabriel are two lovely hosts ! Anna will share with you her passion for crafting and in particular eco-printing during this activity. Gabriel knows a lot about the nature reserve surrounding you and he'll cook for you the typical "korv med bröd" (swedish hot dogs). I enjoyed crafting with Anna and I was allowed to take home what I made. Highly-recommended for everybody (families, groups of friends, or even if you're alone).
