Hi! My name is Julia. Born in Russia, I've become a passionate lover of Sweden and everything about and around it. That's why I've spent half of my life studying the Swedish mentality, traditions and history... At the moment I work with various projects, some of which involve teaching Swedish, guiding in Sweden, writing books about Sweden - and that's what I'd like to share with you: my knowledge of all the secrets I've discovered so far. What makes me so different from other guides? Well, here are some examples: - I've written 3 thick travel guides over Sweden, Stockholm and Scandinavia, all of them with tons of fascinating facts - I've been guiding in Sweden since 2000 - I create excursions for travelers from all around the world. - I give lectures about Swedish mentality and customs

  • What you will see and do

Stockholm City Hall is the building of the Municipal Council for the City of Stockholm, housing offices, conference rooms and certainly the well known ceremonial hall, where the Nobel Prize banquet is held every year.

Yet, our tour will be held just outside this magnificent building. From the beginning, this symbol was meant to tell us as much of the history of Stockholm as possible, and now we can still find traces of the most popular legends and stories here. Who was Birger Jarl and what is he doing here? Why do we have so different towers with so strange weather vanes here? And what are all these sculptures supposed to show? Let's find out the most interesting things about this gorgeous symbol of the whole country.

As a bonus, we'll also learn some interesting facts about Kungsholmen, where the City Hall is standing.

This tour can be combined with any other of my walks. If you want to get two or more tours during the same day, you'll get a discount; just contact me!
