Hi! My name is Julia. Born in Russia, I've become a passionate lover of Sweden and everything about and around it. That's why I've spent half of my life studying the Swedish mentality, traditions and history... At the moment I work with various projects, some of which involve teaching Swedish, guiding in Sweden, writing books about Sweden - and that's what I'd like to share with you: my knowledge of all the secrets I've discovered so far. What makes me so different from other guides? Well, here are some examples: - I've written 3 thick travel guides over Sweden, Stockholm and Scandinavia, all of them with tons of fascinating facts - I've been guiding in Sweden since 2000 - I create excursions for travelers from all around the world. - I give lectures about Swedish mentality and customs

DISCOUNTS FOR 3 PERSONS OR MORE!

Let’s take an interesting trip back in time and discover the treasures of the Bronze age!

We’ll take a car to the spot where the concentration of rock carvings is one of the highest in Sweden. Rock carvings belong to the most mysterious ancient monuments. We’ll talk about different theories on when and why the carvings appeared and try to understand what the ancestors of today’s Swedes could mean with carvings.

As a bonus, we’ll visit a medieval church where the wall paintings from the 15th century are still preserved in a very good condition. I’ll tell you about the painter and the way these paintings are interpreted.

We'll also stop by at a little reconstructed Viking yard to have a look at the buildings that were typical for the Viking age.

In case of good weather, we’ll sit down to have a typical Swedish fika (coffee with a bun) before heading back to Stockholm.

Please note that we have to check the availability of a car for this tour, so please book this tour a little in advance.
