Meet your host, Stefani B
A friendly local guide with experience in providing tailor-made tours in Stockholm, mixing business & pleasure, as I always gain as much as I give. Positive, always smiling, making friends and having fun while doing the best job - providing my guests/travelers the most memorable experience from the city I call home.
What you will see and do
Aside from beautiful outdoors, architecture and interesting history, Stockholm offers the world’s largest subway art exhibition!
In total, there are almost 100 stations, each with unique art on its platforms, walls and waiting hall. Do not miss this. You will see subway in general from a different perspective - clean, calm and artistic. What makes these stations unique is that the artwork has been completed by more than 150 different artists. This means each station has its own artistic design, its own vibe, and its own meaning.
Join me on this experience and let's explore these stations together!
The Stockholm subway system has 3 lines: blue, red and green, and we will cover the best of all of them. What's included

This was an amazing experience! Stefani was a wonderful tour guide, had a lot of wonderful insight into the art within the subway. My only complaint was that it went by too fast! We would have gladly paid a little more and spent another hour or so with Stefani as our guide to the art below ground. Truly a unique experience if you are into art and are looking for something to balance all the traditional art found in museums.
Loved it! It was fun and informative - which is pretty amazing given this is a tour of subway stations. Stefani selected a great mix of subway art and made sure we saw it all and enjoyed the couple of hours with her. Excellent
Stephanie was knowledgeable and friendly. She knew lots of subway history and Stockholm info. Very helpful and entertaining.
Interesting aspect of the cultural life in Stockholm. Guide was very friendly. Bit rushed tour and limited time to take pictures but you will discover some of the better stations and can always go back. The subway system in Stockholm is easy to navigate.
Our host was Stefani, and she was very nice to talk to and spend time with. She had interesting stories about what we saw and was able to answer all of our questions. I can't speak to the quality of the other hosts, but knowing her now I would say that if you don't have Stefani you are probably missing out!!
Stefani, our tour guide was fantastic! She was friendly and had lots of knowledge of the subway, Stockholm and Sweden. The tour was fun and interesting and Stefani was willing to answer any questions. She also provided lots of helpful hints and tips about what to see in the city and forwarded them in via email the following day. Would definitely recommend this experience to see and learn about the subway/city in a different way
Very unusual. Top rated. Fascinating. Totally unexpected experience. Loved it. Stephanie was vibrant , friendly, thoroughly interesting. Obviously loved what she was doing. Wished the tour was even longer. We highly recommend it - and Stephanie
Stefani went above and beyond plus she's just an amazing person! The tour was exactly what I was hoping for - personalized and a real sense of the art that can be found in the metro system.
I really enjoyed my tour of the Stockholm subway with Stephanie. This was my first time in Stockholm and the subway was one of the main sites I wanted to visit. The Stockholm subway is a large art gallery and Stephanie’s tour allowed me to see some of the more interesting subway stops along with answering questions about the subway system and Swedish way of life. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Stefani was a wonderful guide and explained so many background stories about the various subway stations. It was great to navigate the different lines and learn some of the history along the way. It was also a plus to hear so much about Stockholm life and some of the different culture that I had not heard about despite having already visited many museums and done two of the bus tours. Would not hesitate to recommend Stefani and the tour! TACK!
It was a fantastic way of knowing and feeling Stockholm Stephanie showed me a lot and help me with advice to continue my exploration of the city She is very kind, friendly, knows a lot about the stations and how to take the most of Stockholm I really recommend her and this tour !!!
I bought the tickets for my friend’s birthday, and we LOVED it. Our little trip to Stockholm didn’t go as planned because of flights delays, but what made our whole adventure was the Tour with Stefani. She was adorable, really friendly and she knew her stuffs and she told us a lot about Sweden or Stockholm in general, really interesting. I was hoping to have details on the history of the tube stations and she gave us everything we were hoping for ! Also she was really patient whenever we wanted to stop to take pictures, and she accepted to stop at some stations just because we requested them. Last but not least, she stayed almost one extra hour with us, which was lovely. And finally she advised us some restaurants and spots to see, that we didn’t fail to love ! I would 100% recommend the tour with Stefani, we will definitely have some amazing stories to tell our friends and family. Here’s my friend’s review as well who was with me for the tour : Thank you Stefani for making my birthday gift even better, I really loved what you said about the different stations, it gave one more thing to the beauty of it ! You were really really adorable and really patient with us as the kids we are, who love taking pictures of everything ! TACK and hope to see you again 🙌
There is a free guided tour of the subway art, but my experience with free tours is that they have big groups. We prefer smaller, more personalized, tours. Stefani provided a really interesting experience. She is very engaging and easy going. She is not a native Swede which allows her to give a different perspective on Swedish life than the native guides give. She showed us several stops in an efficient route. We had plenty of time to take pictures and ask questions at each station.
