Hello! My name is Lucien, and I will be your Guide! I am really passionate about Paris and it is a pleasure to share my love of its history and city life. I used to be a teacher. Now I'm studying to become a tour guide. So now I am doing city tours, but soon I will be a licenced guide. I love Paris for its countless stories, impressive architecture and rich culture. Just walking around in the streets and reading that is what I love! Meeting new people from all the world is a blessing, so I want to be a pro guide.

Lucien's Hidden Passages of Paris tour was the perfect way to explore some of the lesser known areas of what was a very crowded city during the Easter weekend! Starting off at the Royal Palace Gardens was beautiful and so peaceful. It was super interesting to learn all about the hidden passages, and the roles they played in history compared to how they are utilised today. I believe this tour usually lasts around two hours, but as it was just my sister and I as Lucien's guests, we finished in around an hour and had some spare time afterwards. Lucien kindly asked if there were any other areas of Paris we wanted to see and he gladly walked with us from the finishing point of the tour all the way up the hill to Montmartre where we spent even more time learning about hidden secrets of Paris that I didn't even know existed. I would like to thank Lucien so much for his time, his passion and his knowledge - he delivered a fantastic tour and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to find some quirky areas of Paris that aren't in the tourist guide books. Thanks Lucien!

This tour is a bit like entering the magical closet of Narnia - and take a look into the well preserved hidden passages of Paris. The numerous special shops, historical cafés, restaurants and impressive architectonical details offered a different close-up experience of Paris than the "grand monuments" does. Lucien is the perfect tour guide with his passion for historical facts, bizarre anecdotes and his pleasant personality - this is definitely a recommendable activity!
