Hi everyone, it's Alberto from Milan. I've been living in the most exciting city in Italy for 5 years and I've discovered many of its beautiful secrets, usually ignored by tourists. I would love to share with you this unusual side of Milan! Traveling is my greatest passion, I love meeting new people from all over the world and sharing stories and experiences in front of a good meal and a good glass of wine. Can't wait to meet you!

  • What you will see and do

I would like to show you around Milan from a different perspective, giving you the opportunity to see my city through the eyes of a local.

My walking tour will focus on the following areas:

Duomo and Castello Sforzesco: is there a better place to start our tour of Milan? The old town, a labyrinth of narrow streets dominated by the world known cathedral of Milan. Starting from the very heart of Milan I will lead you through some of the hidden treasures of the city, a jump into our unexplored artistic heritage.

Brera, the art and design district that hides an unexpected number of secret gems like the beautiful botanical garden. We will have a walk through the cobbled streets where street artists sell their a last work and the famous fortuneteller will try to offer you a card reading.

Gae Aulenti, the modern and futuristic heart of Milan. This square is the symbol of Milan's rebirth, a process that placed this city on the cutting-edge. Shadowed by the glass skyscrapers lies Isola, one of the coolest places in Milan, perfect to have a break, sipping a fresh drink in one of the many bars.

Porta Venezia, a lively and multifaceted neighborhood, split into by Corso Buenos Aires. On one side we will explore the multicultural district, where you can experience an authentic taste of Eritrea and discover more about the historical bond between Italy and this beautiful African country; on the other, we will wander among some of the Liberty jewels of Milan, amazing palaces frozen in time.

Here we will end our tour, sharing an authentic Italian aperitivo.
