Hi everyone, my name's Nora and I'm a Primary School Teacher, specialising in Design Technology. I've always loved creativity and anything art. I grew up in Hackney, East London and when I'm not in school teaching children I'm channelling my creativity into creating henna tattoos, candles, canvas, macarons and cookies (yum!) and anything else pretty much! I also teach these skills to those wishing to learn the art of henna design or who want a gorgeous temporary tattoo! Workshops are always fun and I'd love for you to join me!

  • What you will see and do

From learning the history and origins of henna, to learning how to make henna paste and creating a temporary tattoo, this workshop will arm you with all you need to know in order to become an aspiring henna artist! The workshop will show you all the basics of henna design, give you opportunity to make your own paste, henna cones and practice key elements of henna art. You will then have fun creating and applying your henna design to others or your own hand if you are confident enough! You can then take your henna cones in a goodie bag at the end of the day to practice all you have learnt on friends and family! A lot of creativity and fun!

Thank you, Nora! That was great. I learned a lot about the origins of henna and the differences between cultures. But most importantly: how to make my own henna paste and cones. Nora taught me how to do beautiful mandala designs myself. I am looking forward to use this modern style of henna art for my next party outfit. Highly recommended workshop!
