We want to see every country on this planet... Nearly there! We are from London and I walk past the top sights of London every day and still enjoy seeing them, so I thought: we should show other people these sights!! We have lived in the center of London for over 20 years (right next to the Tower of London). We are both passionate about—and fascinated by—the history and architecture of the city. Our friends and family use us as a human search engine for all things London-related. We are proud to live here, and we really enjoy showing off the city to visitors. Being able to tell people London's facts and figures is great fun.

  • What you will see and do

Jack the Ripper is a gruesome and unsolved part of London's history. We have lived in the center of London for over 20 years (We lived for 5 years right in Whitechapel, the East End of London, where the Jack the Ripper murders took place). We have worked in the square mile (financial district) which borders the East End and know the pubs, and restaurants and buildings that were standing in 1888 when the murders took place. We have our theories of who Jack the Ripper was... This is one of our favorite pieces of London history as it contains a Royal link......

We will take you on a walk through the dark and narrow streets of London's famous Victorian East End. We will trace the footsteps and crime scenes of the murders of Jack the Ripper committed. This tour is not for the faint-hearted.

Allow us to set the scene…

It is the autumn of 1888, and a sinister serial killer is loose on the streets of London’s East End. At first, he is known simply as ‘The Whitechapel Murderer’. But in time, thanks to a mysterious letter sent to a London news agency (a copy of which you will be shown in the course of the walk), he will become known as ‘Jack the Ripper,’ in which capacity his name will become famous throughout the world.

    You will see
    - The places and buildings where his victims were murdered and found
    - Streets, buildings and alleyways that have hardly changed since 1888
    - The pubs and buildings where his victims drank, worked and lived
    - The doorway where Jack the Ripper’s only clue was discovered
    - Police photos of the victims and evidence

To meet our guides please take the Underground to Aldgate East Train station and head outside. The evening before the tour we will send you specific instructions about who, where and when to meet us Aldgate East Underground Station

We will spend our time in the East End of London : Aldgate and Whitechapel areas. The route that our Jack the Ripper tour takes is designed to follow the murders in sequence.

This part of London borders the current square mile (financial district)

The area is steeped in history and as well as following the murders Jack the Ripper committed we will also give you small pieces of information regarding the history of the area
