Mónica is a Salvadorean living in Lisbon for 3 years and Marco is a Portuguese that loves to travel and we both have been working as a tour guides for almost 2 years in this place we call home: Lisbon. Something we really love is the vast history that Portugal has and the fact that you can walk in the same streets of Lisbon every day and always find something different about them. Join us on this adventure!

  • What you will see and do

Let's discover the history of the city with this walk through the hidden narrow alleys and streets in Alfama, the oldest neighborhood. We are going to see tiles with saints protecting the locals, some symbols and walls remaining from the Moorish period, see some of the most beautiful sightseeing points and drink homemade Ginjinha!

We will cross the Baixa Pombalina, which was fully reconstructed after the earthquake of 1755. On our way, we are going to see places such as:
    - Memorial to the Murdered Jews
    - Oldest Cinema of Lisbon
    - Santa Justa Elevator
    - Praça do Comércio
    - Cathedral / Sé de Lisboa
