Meet your host, Jackie G
Hey everybody, I am a fun outgoing person who likes to meet new people. I am to fitness, having adventures, love the outdoors and every single season of the year, they bring out different emotions, and I would love to travel the world.
What you will see and do
Let's walk through the most historical part of Berlin, seeing everything from the Prussian time until the coming down of the Berlin Wall.
We will start at Alexander Platz, meeting by the
Weltzeituhr, a clock that shows different times zones all over the world. The Nikolaiviertel comes next, known as the Old Berlin, there is a church and what used to be a palace which is now a museum.
We will go around museum island and Lustgarten where
we can see the Altes Museum, the Berliner Dom, pass by the Bebelplatz, where the Nazi book burning happened, and then by the Gendarmenmarkt where we can see two cathedrals French and German, and a concert house. We will see both East and West Berlin,
also there are tons of museums but we won't be going in on any of them.
We will go through Unter den Linden to the Bradenburg Gate, passing through the Memorial of the murdered Jews, making our way to Postadmer Platz where there are some pieces of
the wall and historical facts on these pieces, where we will end our tour. If you want you can rent a bike for the day and we make this a bike tour :)
I’ll share the exact meeting point when you book, feel free to ask me before if you have any questions!
Jackie was very knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit with her. Sure is nice to have us both in our vacation pictures! I would highly recommend her for an introductory tour of Berlin. Gave us ideas for the next two days of our visit. Should be six stars!
It was a contentful and fun experience. Jackie is such a nice person. She provided historical anectodes during the tour which was very good. We had a very good time. You must give a try!
Jackie was awesome, knew her history of the main attractions and was very helpful with taking me pictures, I lost my phone that day so she was very nice with the pics :). I definitely recommend her to be someones guide when coming to Berlin.
